Eligible RecipientsHigh school seniors and college undergraduates who identify as female, reside in the United States and wish to pursue a STEM-related field of education. Application ProcessAt Hyundai, we are on a journey to proactively promote a shift towards electrification and sustainability. Write an essay of 500 words or more on the journey you will take to promote a positive shift towards sustainability in your chosen STEM field. Then, include the link to your essay on your application form. Scholarship Amount: Five scholarships in the amount of $10,000 each Application Deadline: June 30, 2022 (winners will be announced by August 31, 2022)

For young people to thrive in a world where change is the only constant, they need to master the skills needed to be innovative, problem-solving changemakers. Through the Changemaker Challenge, T-Mobile, the T-Mobile Foundation, and Ashoka are committed to helping young people unleash their big ideas to drive meaningful change. T-Mobile and the T-Mobile Foundation are partnering with Ashoka because, for the last 40 years, Ashoka has supported social entrepreneurs and young changemakers as they bring new ideas to systemically address the world’s biggest challenges and build a world where we all realize our power to create change. Together, we are committed to mobilizing, engaging, and supporting the next generation of leaders to create a better tomorrow. Now through March 31, 2022 (9 PM PST), young people ages 13-18 located in the U.S. and Puerto Rico with bold ideas for driving digital empowerment, putting equity into action, and supporting a thriving planet, can enter the Changemaker Challenge. Fifteen winning teams will be selected to win up to $15,000 in seed funding, an all-expenses-paid trip to T-Mobile headquarters to participate in the three-day Changemaker Lab later this year (subject to change based on CDC COVID-19 safety recommendations). The Colorado Space Business Roundtable (CSBR) is hosting a 2022 Summer Internship Program for high school and college students interested in pursuing careers in the aerospace industry. All students pursuing STEM- (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) related disciplines are encouraged to apply. The 2022 CSBR Internship Program will run for two weeks during the summer which gives students ample time to experience what it’s like to work in various facets of the aerospace industry. Students will spend time at various CSBR partner facilities where they will have a chance to meet the best and the brightest in the aerospace industry, participate in hands-on activities, and get an exclusive behind the-scenes look at what each company does and some of the exciting projects they are working on. It’s Not Rocket Science! But wait, it is! If you’ve ever gazed up to the stars and wondered what’s out there or perhaps even had dreams of going yourself, now is your chance to start turning those dreams into reality. If you are a high school or college student living in Colorado, you are eligible to apply for the 2022 CSBR Internship Program where you will get a chance to gain exposure and obtain relevant work experience with various aerospace companies in Colorado. During the internship you will have an opportunity to network with leading aerospace professionals, drive rovers, launch water rockets, learn about the various engineering disciplines and what it takes to be successful in the industry, and meet a number of people working on some amazing projects in aerospace! |
